At the beginning of February 2025, Vienna hosted an engaging event gathering 30 participants to celebrate and explore the outcomes of the BioYouToon project. The event began with a welcome toast, setting a festive tone to honor the project’s milestones. This was followed by a project presentation to have an insightful overview of the project, detailing the development of key resources of the project such as the e-manual, the toolkit and the engaging webtoons. The dedicated session on the webtoons included also a Q&A with the illustrators behind the stories, providing deeper insight into the creative process. Then the event featured a screening of a short documentary on Vienna’s Biodiversity Corridor, followed by a lively panel discussion where experts Dominic Sylvestre, Maria Lindhuber, and Raphael Volkmer, moderated by Mary Sarsam, delved into biodiversity conservation, both in Europe and globally.
