Multiplier Event in Iznik - NICEA
At the end of March, the city of Bursa hosted a local multiplier event for the BioYouToon project, welcoming 20 participants to discover and engage with the project’s key outputs. The aim of the event was to present the educational resources developed throughout the project — including the comics, the toolkit, and the e-manual — and to spark dialogue on biodiversity conservation through digital storytelling. The event began with a brief introduction and a presentation of the BioYouToon project, outlining its objectives, the creative process, and the milestones achieved. This was followed by a detailed showcase of the project’s creative outputs: the comic series was highlighted for its engaging narratives and educational value; the toolkit was introduced as a comprehensive resource for educators and youth workers; and the e-manual was presented as practical guide for empowering young people in biodiversity conservation. A coffee break allowed time for informal networking, followed by an interactive discussion session where participants shared their impressions and explored how the tools could be adapted to different educational and community settings. The event concluded with closing remarks and a final networking opportunity.
